Nevay Park Hill (NO 331426)
Gaelic neimhidh (from Britonnic nemeton, “holy place”) + English park, “enclosed piece of land”
Hill slope above Nevay Park estate, on the west side of the ridge between Unnamed Point 315/2 and Back Drum
Newtyle Hill (NO 296399, 269m)
Gaelic neimhidh (from Britonnic nemeton, “holy place”) + tulach “at the hill”
Location: main ridge, west central
Neighbours: Auchtertyre Hill (W), Hatton Hill (E)
Summit: heather and gorse
Notes: above town of Newtyle
Northballo Hill (NO 251352, 319m)
English north + Gaelic bealach, “pass”; presumably the pass of Ballo Glack, which it overlooks along with its neighbour Southballo Hill
Location: main ridge, west
Neighbours: Southballo Hill (S), Ballo Hill (SE), Hill of Dores (NE), Gask Hill (SW)
Hill Lists: sub-HuMP, Tump
Summit: in previous years, the summit was dominated by dense woodland with deep undergrowth and windfallen trees; the windfall has now been cleared and many standing trees felled, leaving a relatively open summit area
Notes: above North Ballo farm; extensive forestry tracks on slopes, informal mountain bike tracks descending west, north and east sides
