Notes: a high point on the ridge between Finlarg Hill and Kincaldrum Hill, higher than Kincaldrum Hill, which gives it precedence in hill lists; for lack of a better designation it is called “Hayston Hill” in the Database of British and Irish Hills, but this moves the name Hayston a long way from its geographical source
Unnamed Point 315/1 from Finlarg Hill; it is the summit it in the middle distance, half heather, half rough grazing, with a patch of forestry on its slopes, and Kincaldrum Hill visible beyond it
